Do you often delay tasks until the last minute?

Procrastination is delaying any task even when you know it’s important.

People want their life to be easy and comfortable. They find mere comfort in relaxing or scrolling on social media rather than doing some productive work in which they actually have to use their brain and find solutions, which seems to be more difficult. So, in order to stay in their comfort zone, they delay their actual productive work.

Maybe you’re just feeling less motivated or tired, or maybe your goals aren’t clear. For me it’s often fear of failure or perfectionism.

Overcome procrastination

  • First, acknowledge your procrastination. It’s ok.
  • Don’t try to tackle things at once.
  • Start small.
  • Do the hard tasks first (separated them in small chunks)
  • Make a schedule and stick to it.
  • Start with small tasks, or count down from 5 and act immediately.

Overcoming procrastination is possible. Use effective strategies like breaking hard tasks into smaller and achievable tasks. If you want to overcome procrastination, you have to become disciplined and persistent.
